PeopleProfit launches Social Research Initiative
Out of the blue, the COVID-19 pandemic hit an unsuspecting world in the beginning of 2020. As people were falling sick and dying in ever increasing numbers, medical researchers across the world started working on neutralising the SARS-Cov-2 virus. But clearly that was not enough. We needed to look at human actions that could slow down and stop the human-to-human transmission of the virus.
Lockdown and social distancing had emerged as the global strategy to fight the spread of Covid-19.
At PeopleProfit, we decided to use our social and behavioural sciences research capabilities to contribute in the global efforts to find out ways to slow down and stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
Though PeopleProfit’s Social Research Initiative (SRI) was started in response to the COVID-19 crisis, it will continue to work as a social initiative platform, singly as well as in collaboration with other bodies, in all socially relevant areas.
